This small community contains both full-time and part-time residents who enjoy their waterfront retreats looking northeast toward Lion Island and Palm Beach. Coasters Retreat is located in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park.
Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park is a recreational favourite for locals and visitors alike. A heritage-listed park, it combines important history with scenic beauty. Winding creeks and stretches of ocean meet rainforest and eucalypts, rocky cliffs and mangroves. Coasters is made up of 50 holiday houses set in the bush and beside the beach. Two of them date from settlements in 1922-1924. Coasters Retreat has no road or land access and is entirely dependent on transport via our Palm Beach Ferries service.
